Have arrived in Salzburg safe and sound after a very long and not so comfortable Lufthansa flight. Beth-Anne was right... The Lufthansa planes aren't anywhere near as nice as the Air NZ planes. No nice little screens on the back of seats, only one little screen for eeeeeeeeveryone at the front of each section.
Found a great little "Pension" to stay at tonight, left our stuff there and headed out. It's something like 7:00 a.m. California time and we've been up since 9:00 a.m. yesterday. But it's only 5 p.m. here and the Christmas Markets are really rocking! We just had some yummy sausage (mmmmmmm) for dinner and can't stop gawking at all the beautiful xmas decorations for sale at these markets. Lots of people out and about, old and young.
