With the day of reckoning fast approaching, some last minute preparation and fun times were in order!

Firstly, Chrissi put on a super fun bachelorette party for me. There were many laughs at her place and some rather rude looking rice krispie squares (not in the shape of squares) provided by Marci. The photo should fill in the blanks... Chrissi also arranged the awesome cupcakes from the market and a whole lot of sangria. mmmm Sangria. I guess being the bride entitled me to the extra large glass. Thanks for that.

Anyway, we had a blast at Chrissi's place and it was just like old times hanging around except for the cat with no depth perception and the fact that I was wearing a pink feather boa. Nice touch. Afterwards we went out and danced and also discovered that the way to free shots is to wear a veil out and dance with a boa. The next morning was not the very best in the world.

Friday was a whirlwind of ironing many many tables clothes and Richard's panic shop for a shirt to wear to the rehersal dinner.

I got a chance to catch up with my friend Anya, the kiwi who convinced me to go to New Zealand in the first place so that was great.

We had a rehersal at the Delta which went well apart from our poor little flower girl suffering a case of nerves (preview to the next day where she was awesome!). Afterwards we went out for a dinner at Brewbakers where we had our own room and a yummy meal. Chrissi discovered the best dessert in the world while I enjoyed an old favourite. Mmmm chocolate eruption!

So that takes us up to the evening before the wedding. The one where Beth-Anne gets to sleep on the couch of her parents apartment. ;-)
