I took a bus from KL to Singapore on the 27th of December. The bus trip was ok, seats were pretty comfy and there was alot of leg room. Took 6 hours though which was a pain but it was cheap as chips to get there so I shouldn't really complain.

I met my friends Nat and Matt and Matts parents at Clarkes Quay. This was at night so this area was just buzzing. We watched a live band play at some bar, it was very noisy. Drinks were pretty expensive. We didn't actually hang around long, I hadn't had anything to eat so they all took me to the Newton Square food centre. This was at midnight and the place was jam packed! People eat in Singapore 24 hours a day, when it comes to food, it just doesn't stop! Newton Square had heaps of hawker stalls. Everything looked so good! It was here that I tried stingray for the first time. It wasn't too bad, quite tasty actually.

On Sunday, after chilling for a bit at the pool at Matts parents place, Matt and Nat took me shopping on Orchard Road! Caught up with Viv too, another good friend from NZ now living in Singapore. There were so many shops along here but suprisingly, I didn't buy anything here at all. It was nice to catch up with my friends :)




The next stop was Vivo City. This was a HUGE shopping mall and it had all the major brands from all over the world. Would have loved to have had more money with me so I could stock up on clothes from my favourite stores, Zara and Topshop! Here we saw Sentosa Island too. Would have loved to have gone but didn't have the time. Next time i think.

East Coast Seafood Centre was next on the list. Here, I had one of the best seafood experiences of my life! It was here, that I tried chilli crab and black pepper crab! OMG, it was amazing! Here's me eating some black pepper crab. Had to wear bibs cos it gets pretty messy....



So, all in all, it was a short trip but I had a great time!!!
